This project buy or not depends on access road. If no new access road, then as good as dead. If got connection to highway and overhead connection to EC then got chansi. Pricewise will likely be reasonable as all their projects are. Just dont't expect quality product, though for sure design will be contemporary.

Land for Lung Mu temple gazetted
Posted on May 23, 2012 - Property News. May 23, 2012 Land for Lung Mu temple gazetted No entry: A trough for lorries carrying construction materials will be closed to prevent them from entering the temple site. LAND in Damansara Perdana for construction of the Mother of Dragon (Lung Mu) Temple has been gazetted. Federation of Kwong Siew Association of Malaysia organised a Buddhist blessing ceremony at the site recently to celebrate the good news. The function was attended by Petaling Jaya Utara (PJU) federal development coordinator Datuk Dr Wong Sai Hou, Batu MP Tian Chua and Kelana Jaya MP Loh Gwo Burne who represented Bukit Lanjan assemblyman Elizabeth Wong. Federation chairman Ho Sai Chong said building plans for the three-storey temple on the 0.28ha land were ready for submission. “The building cost is estimated at RM5mil and fundraising activities have started. We are confident that we can raise the amount needed as the federation has 47 member associations in the country, with about 100,000 members,” he said. Ho added that the construction, slated to take two years, would likely start next year if plans were approved. He said numerous delegates would join them in the site’s ground-breaking ceremony next month. “China alone is sending 80 delegates to celebrate the occasion,” Ho said. Meanwhile, Wong pointed out that a row of fence had been put up to prevent trucks accessing an adjacent construction from trespassing into the temple’s site. “The trucks are now required to use another access road instead of leaving behind a trail of uneven surface here that may hinder the temple’s construction,” he said. He also urged the state government to consider granting a title to the temple committee. “Having the land gazetted is not good enough to secure the place permanently,” he added. Chua said the state had been engaged in a long talk with the developer, who intended to use the land for development. While the gazettement is a relief to many, talk of the ownership of an adjacent plot of land measuring 0.17ha currently used as a carpark is still underway. “The state government will attempt to obtain the carpark for the temple’s use. It takes some time because the developer has included the plot in its development plan,” Chua said. Loh called for the abolition of a clause used in the past, which stated that land used for non-Muslim worship places must be less than 20,000 sq ft. “The authorities have been lenient about this requirement, but still, I hope the clause can be abolished,” he said, adding that worship places should also be given a prominent location like the Lung Mu Temple to showcase the country’s unique diversity. http://www.starproperty.my/index.php/prope...ple-gazetted-2/ This post has been edited by tikaram: Apr 20 2013, 08:34 AM |
