android may be lag but this is due to UI such as TouchWiz, Sense..this kind of UI makes android sometimes laggy becoz of bloatware, laucher, etc..
the pure android UI (Nexus) is definitely smooth..
but as for now, i can see that htc one/s4 is really smooth.
