Am waiting anxiously for this HTC One. Most likely will get it on launch day, and this will likely replace my Nexus 4 as my 2nd phone to go hand-in-hand with my iPhone 5. The HTC One is just perfect in terms of imaging, UI and construction. Not even bothered to consider the S4 at the moment. biggrin.gif

Even though HTC one is one of the best phone in specs and features right now,I just wonder why its not even popular?and also, speaking of people judging by mega pixel, this makes the condition worst

Their marketing campaigns are crap. They need to do something like what Samsung and Apple are doing.

And the HTC One camera performance is good in terms of noise and brightness, but when it comes to colours still lose to iPhone 5.

There's no wonder after all why the HTC One would be indeed marked as 'not successful' by analysts. icon_rolleyes.gif

Also, kind of worried with the build quality. If the HTC One has poor quality control, it's going to breakdown and we are going to have hell with HTC service centres. Just reading their Facebook complaints scares me. laugh.gif

what other voucher can be use to get up to RM500 discount? drool.gif

And is this different from the RM50 voucher? hmm.gif

I hope Senheng will bring in a lot of stock, so that I could just grab a unit outright on 5th May or whenever. Then can retire my iPhone 5 as main primary phone hopefully. thumbup.gif

Been waiting for this One for too long. S4 is just too boring. tongue.gif

my house and work area also got... and I believes MAXIS is expanding it quick. Most of the area i frequent also got...

Both my house, work place and places I normally frequent around PJ area all are LTE-enabled.

And before anti-LTE activists start saying it's just going to drain the data quota faster than anything, and only good for streaming, THINK AGAIN!

The entire smartphone experience is elevated with LTE.

Emails are received / sent MUCH faster. Even photos sent via WhatsApp (or other social messaging network) get a noticeable speed boost due to LTE's awesome low-latency.

Like what they say, once you've tried it, 3G is indeed the new 'Edge / GPRS'. tongue.gif

I've been seeing a lot of "sighs" about the HTC One dropping the HDR mic from here on end.
People seem to think and assume that with this, the HTC One will have a lower quality mic in their later batches.

Hold on a minute here...

When, where and how did HTC ever did say anything about using a lower quality mic?

They said:
Where exactly in that sentence did HTC say: "screw this, we're just gonna skimp on the mic... not like people will notice."?

For your info guys, there are plenty of EVEN better HACC mics on the market. Not just the one contracted to Nokia.
It might drive cost up for HTC, but no where and never did they say that later batches will have a lower quality mic.

Don't just place unnessasary mental stress on soon-to-be buyers for no reason.

Just thought I'd share my 2 cents.

Excellent post you have there. Fully agreed. It's kinda sad how people jump to their own conclusions without doing any further research.

And by the way, most flagship smartphones today incorporate an additional noise-cancellation microphone which makes the clarity already very good.

And last but not least, as if a 'normal'-sounding microphone is going to deter anyone from the sexiness of the HTC One. Heh.
