The only logical reason to preorder from Digi NOW:
- HTC already has production problems with this phone, and if you don't snap up this first batch, the next one could take forever.
Reasons NOT to preorder from Digi now:
- The first batch of gadgets often has problems right? And some people seem to be reporting creaky gaps in what is supposed to be its zero-gap body.
- Once the phone is out, AP sets should go down in price pretty fast. Anyone have an idea how fast and roughly by how much? Doesn't seem very smart to pay a few hundred bucks extra just to get the phone a couple months sooner.
- Digi may never introduce LTE in our lifetime LOL...

Funny that so many people want this phone because of the build quality and the 'premium' feel... Yet the first thing they will do after buying is wrap it up in a cheap RM50 plastic case. What's the point? Better get the s4. And maybe find a metal case for it

QUOTE(jason111785 @ May 1 2013, 10:43 AM) Digi has removed the word pre-order! I assume they've already send out the stock! Good sign! gonna call senQ and check! Even early last month during the preorder period Digi already stated that preorders would close at the end of April. So I don't think this means they've sent out the stock, it just means they closed the preorder window as planned. This post has been edited by omichael: May 1 2013, 02:29 PM

QUOTE(jloi @ May 2 2013, 11:33 AM) it stated start delivery on 6th May. So 6th may is not few more days? I wonder if Digi will delay delivery of the black models... since SenQ was saying their black models would only be delivered a week or so after the silver ones. I hope not, because I ordered black!

QUOTE(blugear @ May 3 2013, 12:37 AM) Damn... HTC is still in bad shape... SourceHmm... so if we get our HTC One phones, and the company goes bankrupt, I guess 2 things can happen: 1) The HTC One will become a collector's item, or... 2) It will become an undesirable piece of junk, because nobody is manufacturing spare parts or carrying out repairs for it

QUOTE Dear Sir / Madam,
Thank you for your pre-order via DiGi Store Online!
Due to some unforeseen circumstances on the logistics of the HTC One smartphones, there will be a slight delay on the delivery of your pre-order which was scheduled to start from 6th May - Monday.
However, we are pleased to inform you that your HTC One will be delivered next week, starting 9th May - Thursday.
Along with your smartphone and the Free casing for purchasing online, we will also be including a HTC merchandise for your pre-order, as a token for your patience and continued support for DiGi.
Our logistic partner, GD Express (GDex), will also call you before the delivery.
Please produce your original NRIC for verification during delivery of the phone.
Thank you for choosing DiGi - Always the smarter choice. * How come you got this message? Did you send them an email, or is this a mass mailing to all pre-orders? Just wondering because I didn't get it. * When did you make your pre-order? A little strange that Digi implies the free casing is for all online orders, when on its website it says the free casing is only for the first 100 pre-orders. Maybe it's a tactic to make people rush...

DiGi Telecommunications Sdn. Bhd. Just got this email from Digi. Looks like I was (unfortunately) right - the black model has supply issues...
