HTC got problem to meet the demand for this phone. This sounds like S3 when they just launch. Damn hard to get stock.

Yeah, they face problem with their supplier in getting the parts.
I just worry this will cause the price to hike or stagnant for a long period of time.

GSM 850/900/1800/1900/3G(900/2100)/ISM/LTE(2600) MOBILE STATION (WITH PDA)

LTE 2600. Means its not compatible with the Maxis 1800 LTE that just launch.

What are the LTE spectrum in Maxis?
Our 4G LTE network rides on the 1800MHz & 2600MHz spectrums.

Maxis iPhone users: Perhaps Maxis is not going to tell you this. They have more iPhone 5 LTE compatible sites(1800Mhz) compared to 2600Mhz(Nokia Lumia 920...etc). Its a crazy roll out and the Maxis network team has done an amazing job so far. Good work.

Okay then I made a mistake doh.gif pardon me for not following ip5 news. Before this there was a statement that malaysia band was gonna be 2600 and that the ip5 not supporting it. Didn't know that changed and they have both bands of lte. Well better for consumers then smile.gif
*
not better. worst. coz not all sites support both band. and most lte phone in msia is 2600. only sial ip5 is 1800 afaik.

Sad reality is sometimes logic doesn't apply during deployment time due to other factors.

So far based on all those reported at XDA , I don't have those reported issues
Again I'd say buying such stuffs sometimes depends on luck. Not everyone is so "suay" to get problematic unit
Even later batchs does not guarantee a problem/defect free - it makes only one more confident that later batches are often better

Digi FB state that the phone supports 2600Mhz LTE. But without LTE service on Digi, its pointless AND you are tied up with them for 2 years. Who knows when they will deploy their LTE service...

But you do want the network though..Digi's network is really very slow..I've switched twice to them and regretted both times..

But I'm not stopping you though..Just make sure you test it out before committing..2 years are very long..Now I have two sim cards with data plans..The digi remains in my wallet only..Paying them for nothing..lol

not to mention no 3G coverage in my hometown and no LTE, even a planned for LTE rollout anytime soon.
