From Apple's website, it only says 5W.

And since this is my first time charging my new phone, to be safe I will use the original adapter and usb cable to charge...

just feel a bit sayang to to cut open the packing and use the adapter/cable...

haha occasionally I'm charging iphone with my old Nokia micro-usb cable too... and so far seems working fine.
