QUOTE(lordofvirtue @ Apr 3 2013, 11:08 AM) Hmm..that sucks. Main reason why I don't use Digi is due to its lousy coverage. It is not wide enough in my hometown. After like ten years my housing area still suffering from lack of 2G coverage. However I think it still has the cheapest deals for smartphone plans. Too bad umobile is still new in my area. Would love to give it a try once it has 3G coverage here. Does Maxis still charge per MB once you hit your quota limit or it is following the rest by sticking to fair usage policy? IMO it does have a fairly decent coverage it's just that the extra charges tend to freak people out lol. If your area has u mobile should definitely try it out. Especially in klang valley area but if you travel a lot then u mobile probably best to avoid it as the coverage in other states very limited. Maxis stopped the charge per mb thing some time last year so that would be a good alternative with good coverage.

I think the soonest we can get it here locally will be end of April and looking at the way samsung are doing things I wouldn't be surprised if they are able to launch S4 here before htc one.

Apparently it wont be a problem. Read before somewhere htc calls them micro holes or something. Water going in also very little or none.

QUOTE(SteadyPana @ Apr 5 2013, 10:41 PM) Why not wait for Padfone Infinity ? Padfone infinity price 900 euro. And from the padfone 2 thread it seems Asus qc not that good. Read a lot of users complaining about overheating etc. I wonder if they will improve it with padfone infinity

QUOTE(s7ran9er @ Apr 7 2013, 12:16 PM) Well, I really have to admit the HoX is indeed a battery sucker because of the processor. I'm wondering how does the phone's battery perform after they rooted? Anyone please share some lights? Thanks! edit: oh why am I posting this on HO thread. Oh well since you posted then I'll answer you my one x rooted can get 3 hours to 4 hours of screen on time. Average 3 and a half hours depending on usage. Mostly if browsing on 3g then 3 hours+ before left around 10%. With standby time around 12 hours? So basically it can last me a whole day

QUOTE(sebastianX11 @ Apr 10 2013, 11:16 AM) yupe, totally understand that wont go wrong with these 2 phones the only thing that stop me from buying HTC phone again is the locked bootloader....i effing hate that part... The locked bootloader can unlock what. Unless you're talking about s-off then that's a different issue

QUOTE(joytest @ Apr 10 2013, 07:36 PM) Would unlocking the bootloader or S-on/S-off thing void warranty like what Sony practices? That said, I haven't read enough about S-on/S-off except to know it's an unnecessary pain. In general terms yes unlocking would mean a voided warranty. However so far most one x users with unlocked bootloaders are still able to get one to one replacement / fix foc because is hardware faulty. So usually I think if it's hardware faulty they most probably will still honour warranty. Only in cases like bricked phone due to bad flashing then they can choose not to entertain any warranty claims / charge.

Okay then I made a mistake pardon me for not following ip5 news. Before this there was a statement that malaysia band was gonna be 2600 and that the ip5 not supporting it. Didn't know that changed and they have both bands of lte. Well better for consumers then

QUOTE(WhitE LighteR @ Apr 11 2013, 12:07 AM) not better. worst. coz not all sites support both band. and most lte phone in msia is 2600. only sial ip5 is 1800 afaik. I don't think it will be like that la. Over time they will definitely upgrade all sites to support both. Having certain sites supporting only one band would be dumb. Eg if someone using ip5 in bukit tinggi got lte suddenly go klcc no more lte cause of different band? i wonder how will the other two major telco implement lte. Digi since last year keep promoting that they're upgrading

Think the phone should have lte. Just maybe since Digi network doesn't support lte that's why they never advertise it as a selling point

QUOTE(@Duran @ Apr 15 2013, 01:44 PM) is there a way to pre-order device only? Don't want the plan Hope that its not a digi exclusive and wait for HTC to open their own pre-orders. Since digi estimating around 6th of May onwards I think local release also should be the same.
