QUOTE(idesmond @ Apr 18 2013, 11:00 AM) Yes! I am planning to get one. But i will very likely not wait for the actual launch. If i get too desperate, i will buy it from SatuGadget, or try to ask a friend who works in a Singapore Telco to buy for me without a contract. Oh that's cool. I'm planning to get it from Celcom most probably since this will be my first time signing up to a postpaid plan. Second choice would be Maxis. How about you bro? |

QUOTE(idesmond @ Apr 18 2013, 11:25 AM) Well if LTE matters to you then i would suggest waiting for Maxis. The speeds are pretty good. Also because the bandwidth is still unhogged by too many users at the moment. Yeah that got me thinking, since Maxis already has two LTE bands now. I wonder how soon will it reach other states especially the southern ones like Melaka (my hometown) since I mostly travel around these areas. |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Apr 19 2013, 07:55 AM) Reminder to all potential buyers. Be aware of poor build due to zero gap not being well constructed I hope that I won't forget this by the time the other telcos starts selling it. There will still be some very minor gaps . If you are looking for the perfect unit with absolutely no gap, quite tough i would say . Maybe n hopefully the M'sian sets are improved versions. Infact bloggers said HTC should not even boast about this as most units found with at least minor gaps These pics in this website is indeed bad n unacceptable http://gsminsider.com/2013/04/01/htc-one-s...onger-zero-gap/ |

QUOTE(Agito666 @ Apr 19 2013, 03:06 PM) personally i think it is like holding S3, because i go other side of booth to hold S3 haha... Haha that's the good thing about going to booths since you can give a direct comparison. Yeah Xperia Z turned me off by its lack of ergonomics. It's great to know that it's easier to hold compared to the Z. Haha that's great. People might think it's an overgrown black iPhone 5 when they see your future phone lol.XZ is slightly wider and when i hold it i only left the last joint of the finger to hold XZ. button respond indeed is not so responsive a bit. colour wise up to you, i choose black because my colleague choose silver lol. and thanks to iphone 5, everyone choose black then when comes to ONE, everyone get silver lol to avoid iphone 5. black is not that appealing, which is what i wanted to |

QUOTE(ben3003 @ Apr 20 2013, 09:39 AM) i believe blinkfeed cannot be disabled.. i would love to use sens 5 but i am not fond of blinkfeed if it only show fb stuff. i will read more on it Based on my readings, Blinkfeed is HTC's own take of Flipboard. It works similarly as how Flipboard works, that is fetching updates from various sites such as Forbes, CNN, BBC, Pocketnow etc. etc. You can watch some of the video reviews since most of them cover Blinkfeed. Yeah you can't totally disable it but you can choose not to use it. However it will always take up a page on your homescreen.for me 16gb for all the apps, add on can put movie those but i believe i no need such big capacity cos i have 10inch tablet for movie purposes. HOX is using tegra 3, i am looking forward to tegra 4.. but looks like ZTE is the one to produce phone using tegra 4... damn, very skeptical about china products.. especially it is design in china and made in china.. |

QUOTE(LordDenning @ Apr 20 2013, 05:38 PM) Thank god that shameful act is only the act of Samsung Electonics Taiwan(SET) and not actually Samsung(globally) as a whole.. Wonder why SET felt threatened since HTC seems to have problems of their own too. lulz. Maybe they realized that HTC's trying hard to make a comeback and they need to do something to stay ahead in the game somehow. Clearly they made a terrible choice by doing this since it certainly damaged Sammie's reputation as a whole. I just hope that manufacturers don't have to stoop that low again in near future. Cheap shots don't pay out well in the long run. |

Iono, HTC really needs to launch this phone ASAP since there's quite a lot of flamings going on. Perhaps people got too bored waiting.

Hello again, I would like to ask current HTC One users. Does HTC still include the usual power widgets (1x4 ones) on Sense 5? On the HTC Desire HD I enjoyed using them extensively. Thanks.

QUOTE(benny888 @ Apr 24 2013, 05:10 PM) If you are a gamer you will appreciate the improved performance of HTC1 vs HOX. N the very much improved battery life I rough estimate at least 50% n is cooler than HOX in operation That's a very good point. I wonder if the choice of battery affects the battery life as well. |
