Fell in love at 1st sight after seeing the pictures.
So one of the first things I did after reaching Singapore was to look for a big phone shop to test this phone.

Can't really comment on the performance.
Love the size but it just feels weird in hand.
It's because of the curve at the back.
But other than that, it looks sweet.
I just wish it is full aluminium body.
It feels plasticky.

Based on my previous 2 days and past 1.5 day using it, there are no serious issues
My advise is when you buy, check properly for the gap problem. Apparently it is better in the subsequent batches

Local blogger/reviewer  Amanz also preview a similar poor unit but he never mentioned it. I think he did not noticed it. It is so obvious those gaps.  Look at his photos - the front just below the speaker and the top end near the power button. Those gaps are definitely unacceptable

I would say the S4 is no way a much better phone than the HTC one. Just that the S4 appeals to me better only ( its removable battery, external SDcard, better battery life and better 3G signal ). The major pro of the HTC One over the S4 is its very good audio quality and better camera shots under lowlight. Both phone has its pro n cons

The best feature of the phone is the uni-alu-body. If gonan use nilkin to cover it.. gonna be a tradeoff

Probably will look at the spigen ultra air transperact case

Was thinking that as well... I'm just afraid of the slippery back... of the alu body   

then with a aluminium bumper.. 

naked is nicer..snap on case also cover the body... then really lose the meaning of the metal body already  the only worry is silver version very easy to get scatch and leave the visible mark  black one will be less... 

me too..i like the silver more than black .. black easily get dirty compare to silver..maybe due to the shininess of the silver colour too.. but also need extra care too 

u like ur device here stain there stain meh? if this is call kiasu?  i already got the nillkin flip case ready and body protector with screen protector..  last time i got the black one x... regretted after that as the white look nicer..just cos i scare the phone easily get scratched.. this round, if i get, sure silver!

ic..the type which only cover the back side? my flip case also leave the top and bottom wide open.. 

ya la.. i dun understand y they cant extend it to cover the top n bottom as well.. so weird.
is it some kind of manufacturing difficulty?

the case is very thin and quite slippery. the picture makes it look like it is rubberized feel but it is not. its just a piece of plastic. confirm wont provide any drop/impact protection...
