yup, the keyboard is plug n' play. but make sure your keyboard using serial or ps2.

there's no way u can buy the customized keyboard from any computer shop outside. u need to go to acer's service centre to exchange the faulty parts but it will cost u $$$.
 USB or PS/2 keyboard is not a bad suggestion if u do not carry around ur laptop often.  |
