In Penang at least, it's much easier to comparison shop. No one fixed place, but you should do a market survey and a bit of haggling before buying. Also, buying large quantities and paying cash helps reduce cost per unit item. Don't be afraid to play off one shop's price against another

where u from? if from KL sure the place is Pasar Road / Jalan Pasar KL

+1 but make sure check for quality first!

yah .. but there are 2nd grade and 3rd grade, 2nd grade usually quite reliable

yup..1st grade quite expensive..
2nd great ok, but make sure ORI..
if made in China, 2 days then rosak!

Pasar road is for electronic parts only. If wanna buy electrical goods like tv, rice cooker, washing machine, etc, don't go there.

Which part of KL? If Cheras, I can recommend you one at Taman Midah.

That's the advantage of being in Penang. Easier to get from one place to another to do comparison shopping.
However I think KL has lower average prices.

I think the shop name call "18", big 18 sign. At a corner near RHB Bank.
Find this guy "Ah Fai", very negotiable and friendly.

Try D'Legend. There's one in SS2 near munri and one along old klang road near ambank branch.

There is an electrical shop near 3.063425,101.647954 .... (jalan puchong), you can try it out too

If you can wait, jusco journey sales sometime can be very cheap.fridge brought at jusco. They give discount. +10% cash vouchers.

Another place on buy most of my electrical items are at SS 2 Legend.

When you buy from jusco or legend you need to set the expectations right. They don't do installation, if ask them to Install, they will all outside contractor to do. So don't expect good installation quality.
