Who has successfully used the new TPLINK TL-WR1043ND V2.1 to replace the Thomson?

I don't understand why can't Maxis run the VOIP phone from the TEL1 socket of the Huawei EchoLife HG850a modem (or any other model) like Unifi as shown here.
Why do they need to run it off the downstream Thomson wireless router? ![]() |

QUOTE(aceedburn @ Aug 5 2014, 11:33 AM) You probably can use back the Thomson TG784n V3 wireless router after cleaning up all the gunk Maxis put into it.Courtesy of znarl. http://znarl.jobrate.org/mediawiki/index.php/Main_Page |

I wanted to install Maxis FTTH initially to save some $$$, but I am glad I went for Unifi after careful thought.
Absolutely no problems with my Unifi whatsoever. |
