Ok, a question for those running SIP clients to call from your VOIP account... Can you make IDD calls? It seems to be barred when I try, although calling from the house VOIP phone is ok...

I'm using SIP client on android called Bria to call Garuda Airline Call Center 00622123519999 without any issue.

I want to use Mikrotik to replace my Maxis Thomson RG..

..if your Mikrotik can do like what Thomson can do:
1) Provide data via LAN & WLAN
2) Provide VoIP phone service via standard home phone port (I'm using Motorola cordless UniFi phone)
3) Provide USB port for usb printer and usb drive sharing
Please PM me the special price. Tq

The price is RM 400 including remote support and warranty for 1 year

Let me know if you are interested

Only the phone cannot be used

RG without FXS port is defeating the purpose of free minutes given by Maxis bundle with this FTTH.

have you tried using vpn? i know its not really a fix, but it should work right? hmm.gif

after reading about the thomson router issues, I feel it is a must to get a custom router and live with having three devices rather than just two sweat.gif

and i don't understand why is there a ping issue when they are sharing the same network as unifi rclxub.gif
*
they are sharing the network physical part only, not the network logical part

maxis not for gaming and streaming videos... will lag till u give up gaming and watching free shows...
so if you want to give up gaming.. go for maxis!

advice from a person stuck with Maxis Home Fibre for another 13 months due to tied to contract...

QUOTE(lalachong @ Jun 13 2013, 02:05 PM)
i report all the way to MCMC d... Maxis called back and said that is the best they can offer... and as long as ping below 80ms... they are safe from MCMC...
but not my CS characters... not my DOTA heroes... they are not safe from the lag....
*
bro, try request for early contract termination penalty waive from maxis due to the lag issue. i believe they will give it to u since u are suffering in game lag issue.

last time i request this penalty waive from maxis because of the high latency issue and poor routing to the international, and they give it. u can terminate your maxis ftth for free after u get this waive. tq

Stupid me .. for some reason, I had mine connected to the old unifi port and using unifi vlanid 500 .. and for some reason, we can use our maxis logon id on unifi line .. hahaha.. so, reconfigured my huawei and router and now back to normal speed again.
*
that was a new finding!
i will combine two routers to both ftth & unifi port so that i can utilize both of the bandwidth hehe
