Just curious anyone of you faced this problem? I forgot to pay 1 month of payment, and they just suspend my account. Very quick I would say.

QUOTE(majorarmstrong @ Mar 31 2013, 04:25 PM) dont sign up.. i am in the middle of processing for cancellation if they cant solve my torrenting issue where they promise me even capped i still get 500kbps which is total bullsh*t Yea, I noticed they throttled even during day time. Unlike what was claimed by some forumers that throttling applies only during peak (e.g. 8pm-12pm).Not true at all as my torrenting now with good seeds at 25-50kB+ only. |

I noticed several patterns.
1. Famous trackers throttled, even before/after 8am-12pm. 2. After you downloaded a lot (perhaps after 100gb), everything (famous) is throttled. Believe it or not, they throttled my PPS (somehow). So.. the one million dollar question, what is not-so-famous trackers? PM me ? |

QUOTE(Aseanity @ Jan 13 2015, 10:38 PM) Damn maxis, speed test so good, ping test so stable. Actually I don't think we should complain so much lah during such difficult moment. If you don't know what I meant, you should try to watch the entire youtube in Full HD (albeit bad connection) and I'm certain you would understand what I'm trying to say, Pity their CEO literally lickety split into two along with the sofa. but surf net like turtle. Highly contrast with Maxis advertisement banner !!! Surely their mourning staffs have no mood to fix the FTTH right. Else you think Maxis so free advertise full page obituary in Networks and Broadband with Morten Bangsgaard's favourite pet for what? Die also remember tigger ok. I hope it won't happened today. But, it happened. R,I.P. This post has been edited by kiawin: Jan 13 2015, 11:11 PM |

QUOTE(Renascence @ Jan 13 2015, 11:33 PM) Yes, complaining much won't help to improve or even alleviate the issue(s), but not making complaints or even acknowledging that there is an issue *is not* going to help with the issue too. So if there's a problem, we should just go, 'eh, got problem lah', then ignore it? Chill. If you re-read my post, I guess you will see I'm making a joke about the youtube video This is a paid service, and it's not cheap. Maxis has not even come out with an official announcement regarding the current issue plaguing their Home Fibre users. They are quick to make automated calls if you miss your payments, and suspend accounts, and in all fairness, I can understand if they need time to 'fully rectify' whatever it is that's affecting their network, but cannot fathom the lack of information from their side. It's irony, that is why I brought up the Maxis banner in the first place (as did some of the other forumers, I believe) that they're touting that they have the best networks (be it Cellular or otherwise) while their Home Fibre network is experiencing unexplained difficulties. Their customer service is clueless, and it takes a long time for them to answer our calls, their own forum moderators and Twitter handlers are giving out scripted -not-helpful-at-all answers. And sorry, I don't quite understand what you're trying to say in your post. At best, it's just inane, and certainly not contributing positively, but hey, that's just me. |
