"cannot connect to concentrator"

I've got the same issue. The problem is made worst by the inability of the thompson router to retry to reconnect, i.e. if connection fails, it just gives up connecting.

I have to enable the Tm Modem to function as modem/router instead and successfully done so because TM modem will reconnect until it is successful.

So my issue is that i do not have wifi, only LAN from TM modem. Is there any way to turn the thompson into wifi gateway without PPPoE?

Edit: solved, reset thompson modem and manually change default gateway for each device.

i followed the steps here http://stanleytiang.blogspot.com/2012/08/c...u-as-modem.html
but used ptm1.621 because this port belongs to maxis.

then i login as admin into the thompson and back up the config file and reset it. so after rest it's like new and i configure the wifi to my liking.

for each device that needs to go online, it needs to complete Step 1 (Manually set Fixed IP) with a different ip for each device (the 192.168.1.123, '123' have to be change to a unique number ranging from 101 to 253) the rest of the config follows the image shown in Step 1.

if your PC is plugged into the TM modem can it go online? You are not suppose to configure anything on the maxis thompson except the wifi (if you want to) after reset.
