Conclusion:

If you game and torrent 24/7, Unifi would be better.

If you dont game at all but stream/download and torrent anytime other than 8pm-2am, Maxis will be better.

I had to point out that

I am using Maxis 10Mbps RM148 ones.

Oversea MMO gaming (especially ones like taiwan and europe) is not recommended if using maxis FTTH

however steam service is still good coz they got cache server at Malaysia.

Compared to streamyx 4mbps, facebook using maxis is LAggy (e.g. HD video, capped at 50~100KB/s so need to pause and make coffee 1st)

Most oversea downloads are capped to 50-100KByte/s per connection, so in order to get full speed you will need to spam 10-20 connections. vmad.gif (P/S: most of well knows cloud storage service is ok tho. 3-5mbps)

for P2P no problem, i get 10Mbps almost every time. (coz it will storm with 200+ connections thumbup.gif )

My conclusion, Cheap but lower quality bandwidth compared to TM atm. So in my house with 7 users I we use maxis 10mbps for heavy P2P, youtube, steam download and cloud service. And another Streamyx line for making up the down side of maxis FTTH.

I posted and shared some information earlier.
