In kelana jaya. They are coming today to hopefully solve this problem. That's after pulling strings with people I know in higher places.

As far as VPN services are concerned, I've been using unlocator for the past 1 year and have had no problems at all so far. Smooth streaming at full speed and no down time. And now they have added a smart VPN feature so you can access blocked sites like Netflix, Hulu, and everything else anywhere in hotels, cafes, airports and best of all it also works with your mobile data connection, no need to connect to wifi. Free trial for 7 days without risk or the need to key in your credit card info. Go to https://unlocator.com/account/aff/go/bxWxMwTCuaV58YDY

Yep, still very bad buffering and streams take a long time start if ever. Even iTunes Radio is buffering, Netflix sometimes ok, sometimes cannot. Maxis really f***ed up big time. I regret subscribing to the maxis iptv. The f***ing worst decision of my life. Never faced problems with unifi. Have complained to skmm. Am gonna disconnect all services and re subscribe to unifi.

Maxis is the worst broadband provider. Stupid f***ers who don't bother about customers. They can close the f***ing company for all i care. The first person who should be sacked is the CEO, then followed by the technical head.

The same issue happened to me, but it was two days ago at 2200 Hours SHARP.

Is this sort of issue widespread amongst you guys as well?

All of you are aware that every 48 hours the ip gets renewed and there is a couple of minutes downtime during the ip renewal process right? This could be what's happening to you.

IC. I didn't know about this
Will changing to a public IP fix this?
*
Hmm, not so sure but public ip is definitely the way to go if you're hosting a server, have cctv or want to do port forwarding.
