This is absolute bullshit. IPTV does not need the dish at all. I don't even have my coaxial cables plugged in. They are lying to you through their teeth. Only the home fibre can use the hybrid setup, but that's not needed for IPTV to function.
*
they said it will use hybrid in future if the internet is down.. but it didn't said when. of course that when using satellite, u will not get astro select channel..
i think any related for astro update, they still need update from satellite. i dont know if u have experience but, if i turn off the internet, i only get channel tvi, i cannot change channel like normal satellite astro, it only stuck in tvi until my internet is running again.. so i think for update like new UI, channel (dont know if astro select is one of them), they still using satellite..

For Astro IPTV, heard that it can be installed in hybrid mode meaning IPTV + Satellite (in case IPTV is down still can watch Astro using satellite), is this really work? If yes, is there any additional charges to be paid to the installer?
*
this feature is still in "testing" mode i guess..
no additional charge..

Hi I have a question.

I am existing Maxis FTTH subscriber & currently subcribe on Astro too.

How do I merge both of these into one package/bill? Which provider should I refer?
*
astro or maxis both can...
