"I recently rolled a monk myself after reaching pl100 on other 4 characters ... one thing i hv to say is .. a TR/Bell monk can be a fast & efficient DE farmer (second would be barb but monk hv high mobility with endless resource + huge burst dmg). With that being said, i highly recommend u invest in good TR/Bell gear 1st (LS Dex Skorn & 3 piece Innas) then use it to farm DE on mp5-7. Reason being with plenty DEs u can start crafting, since BoA craft can provide with u with BiS gears (harder n more xpensive to just buy off AH). Once u are satisfied with ur crafted BoA gears, then u can start upgrading/switching to DW (cookie cutter) build .. which can be very xpensive to gear, just the 2 wpns alone will cost a big chunk of ur budget.

p/s: btw a TR/Bell monk with good ehp also rawks in PvP .. u can get payback on ur DH/WD frens with Bells lolz"

If you have not try TR/Bell before, you should really consider it. It's a lot of fun and fast in farming DE. For this build, you need a good 2H (ie Skorn) with Life steal. Then, get a good spirit regen ~2.0 Stone of Jordan (SOJ) ring. Finally, get an Inna belt for free Sweeping Wind. Pair with your Templar, you should be able to have some good time. Get enough DE... like 1000 of them.

Then, start crafting! Priority from top to bottom.

- Shoulder
- Bracer
- Amulet

After that, you may wanna get a Nat boot and Nat ring that go well with your new crafts. That will give you 7% set bonus. Look for attribute that bring your DPS to at min 200k DPS and 500k EHP. With that you should be able to farm a little in MP10.

May need to upgrade OH and put back TWH for DW goodness.
