Looks like this topic has gained popularity immensely since last year. Kudos to @ilfort for starting this thread. Glad to find so many Lego fans here in "negaraku". It's getting so hard to keep up with all the AFOL sites and forums around the globe, but this thread is fast becoming my favorite coz it's so close to home and I can relate to your frustrations on the availability and pricing of our beloved bricks here. I too buy most of my Lego sets from overseas nowadays. So different now from when I first decided to take up a new hobby to spend more time with my kids, and bought some Lego sets during a warehouse sale. Those were the good ol' days when one could get some good deals on Lego locally, but now it's a bygone era. .... but thanks to the internet, we can now source Lego at affordable prices from so many new places instead.

QUOTE(Ultraman the great @ Apr 11 2013, 10:50 AM) This is very good effort to start a mini CS. price wise its very good. cos now the RM has strengthened!!! If this CS is in KL, i think a lot more would have joined already... btw, rumour has it that monster fighters will go end of life in a few months. so btr go grab this!! Agreed. Very tempting offer as 10228 is on high on my wishlist. If in KL, doubt if I can resist. Don't think this set will be retired soon. Do you know what this haunted house reminds me of.... a run-down and abandoned green grocer!

Anyone still looking for Iron Man 76007? I missed Mr Alby's recent CS, so had to source for myself. Ordered extras to bring down shipping costs. Estimate price is RM180-190, expected to arrive next week. PM me if interested to reserve first. First come first serve. Prefer COD in SJ/PJ area.
PS. Admin, sorry if not supposed to post sales here. Just trying out community service. Will remove this post if offend any rules.

QUOTE(Lego_Jason @ Apr 12 2013, 05:06 PM) Thanks bro! Hope the prices will be attractive to everyone otherwise I have to look for new supplier! lol! Up for grabs are: 10197 Fire Brigade 10224 Town Hall 79003 An Unexpected Gathering 9398 4x4 Crawler 10233 Horizon Express The above I have managed to block some allocation and have been guaranteed the quantities I requested since I'm expecting these to be very high in demand. Below are also items that were on the promotions list but I didn't request them to reserve for me since I'm not into those themes/sets and unsure of demand. The deadline was actually 11th April but I requested for them to hold the price for me till this weekend but it is while stocks lasts... So if anyone wants something from the list below I cannot guarantee availability, I can only put in a request and wait for confirmation. 70505 Temple of Light 5891 Apple Tree House 9472 Attack on Weathertop Going to create the sales thread now... Stay tuned! WOW! 10233 is on my wishlist. Also interested in 70505 for my son. Looking forward to your see the magic number. Would you be interested in a trade, you can check out my sales thread or let me know if there is a retired set you are looking for. Good luck with the bulk order. Your credit card company must be happy and you can earn more points for buying more sets!

QUOTE(Lego_Jason @ Apr 12 2013, 08:03 PM) Hi guys! Finally completed the bulk order thread! Please take a look and add your name to the registry if the sets and pricing are to your liking. Please note the deadline is midnight this Sunday, 14th April. By Monday morning I have to put in the order. Also note that currently demand outstrips supply for the 10232 Palace Cinema so the supplier may not be able to ship immediately. The other sets will be shipped as soon as the order is confirmed and fully paid, I anticipate this to be within the week beginning 22nd April. After that the shipment will take between 6-11 days to reach Malaysia. My current shipment just reached Malaysia, only took 6 days but now waiting for Pos Malaysia to clear customs and this will probably take the whole of next week. So shipment for this bulk order I estimate will probably reach us early to mid May. Here is the link to the bulk order thread: BULK ORDER!You can also follow the link from my signature below. Happy browsing and have a great weekend! Saw your bulk order thread. Good prices esp on palace cinema as it hasn't hit our shores yet (I think). Your PM inbox must be flooded by now. Interested to know which bank you "robbing" to get funds for this huge order. Need more ammo for buying Lego

QUOTE(Lego_Jason @ Apr 14 2013, 12:24 AM) That is awesome bro! Love the details! Thanks for sharing! Hmmm.... 24hrs to end of bulk order... Looks like either my magic numbers not attractive enough or everyone out of bullets... lol! Anyway, I just realised that if the response to the bulk order is too good I will not have enough money and really have to rob a bank to finance this deal! hahaha! So it's actually a good thing that the response is lukewarm... In that case, I may join your bulk order..... 10 sets each of town hall , palace cinema, fire brigade and horizon express. I can provde financing at affordable rates too. haha! JK! Big shipment indeed. How is it gong to be shipped - UPS, DHL, Poslaju?

You go drive from KL to LLM and back in 1 day? Never thought of doing that, must be tiring.

QUOTE(Albcerth @ Apr 14 2013, 12:24 PM) I am. Look at my avatar, and you will know I am into Chima sets. Wish to collect the vehicles and minifigs as well. I think the minifigs are well-designed and they are very detailed. The vehicles are look awesome. The playability is quite high too. =) Pls poison us with your Chima collection then. My kids asking for Chima sets now, but I told them to play with their Ninjago and Friends sets for time being. Already got too many toys and need more space at home. Waiting to see more episodes of tv series. Only seen 2 so far. Agree that the minifigures are very nice but so many to collect from the many tribes. Can't remember if 6 or 7.

QUOTE(hades4eve @ Apr 13 2013, 08:59 PM) I'm not surprised by this though, I have been buying stuff from Ebay (Hey! Where is my package of Darth Vader TIE Fighter? ), the only part that we have to endure to get cheaper price is the time needed for the shipment... Is this the Darth Vader TIE Fighter that you got? It's the ultimate big one.....

QUOTE(hapeace @ Apr 15 2013, 07:53 AM) QUOTE(mryellow19 @ Apr 15 2013, 10:01 AM) Bro, PM me the contact too. Planning to do one to keep my Black Pearl hahaha @hapeace, can you PM me contact too. Or perhaps share info in this thread as I'm sure many of us want to keep our Lego display free from dust. Cleaning and dusting Lego sets on display is a pet peeve of mine and I keep putting it off until my poor sets collect so much dust.....

QUOTE(Lego_Jason @ Apr 16 2013, 04:25 PM) Thanks for all the replies guys! I always thought box of 60 will give 3 complete sets plus 12 extra figures... Sorry, I have all the CMF but all still in boxes. No place to display... Also once my daughter gets her hands on the minifigs she will start to swap their torso, heads etc. hahaha! I have this same problem... better keep your prized minifigures away from the kids. Otherwise they will be MOC'ed to all sort of strange characters and you'll have a big headache trying to return them to their original configuration. But hey, that's what kids do, they love to play with the Lego minifigures and sets. After all that's the joy of playing with Lego, it's meant to be PLAYED with. If you have kids, you need to buy at least 2 sets of everything. One for yourself and one for the kids. If more than 1 kid, hopefully they can share. When it comes to collectible minifigures, even worse... need to buy at least 1 complete set for each child to inherit someday. It'll be worth a small fortune then.... esp if S10 Mr Gold is part of the collection!
