QUOTE(Lego_Jason @ Mar 28 2013, 02:22 PM) Just wondering... Are the tracks in the funhouse escape similar in gauge size as the RC Trains? I remember checking some time back and it was a different gauge and colour but hope someone here who owned the set can reconfirm this. I'm interested in the track for my MOC City... Thanks! I believe the trackers are smaller as harley quinn's cart is quite small in size. There are track pack out there 7499 Flexible and Straight Tracks QUOTE(hades4eve @ Mar 28 2013, 02:26 PM) Its a subscription-alike kind of magazine where it will gives you some basic lego pieces and you use your imagination to build your lego based on your creativity I see, its ok. I'm still a kid at heart |

QUOTE(Lego_Jason @ Mar 28 2013, 03:29 PM) Thanks bro, just as I suspected.... lol i bet a train wreck is going to happen in your lego city with the cart's elevated tracks.Anyway, that ramp look pretty steep so I doubt the train can navigate through it... It's funny Lego decided to produce such an odd sized track with no real application/connection to the other sets... I may be wrong on this though... |

QUOTE(Lego_Jason @ Mar 28 2013, 05:10 PM) Hee Hee. That's what I did. One for myself to display and the other for investment. *wink wink* Very nice tip, thanks bro Just watch out for the import tax component in the checkout page. If memory serves me right the import tax component doesn't kick in if you buy two sets, the third set you get whacked big time with import tax. I have pm some of you before about the beauty of buying from Amazon, so I'll just share it publicly this time. Hope I'm not sharing old news! If the import tax section at the checkout shows nothing (meaning Amazon don't collect import tax in advance for Malaysian Custom) then you will not kena tax at all and the parcel will arrive safely at your doorstep with no interception by Malaysian Custom. This is Amazon's new policy to improve customer service and delivery speed. If the import tax section at the checkout shows some figure that you have to pay then what it means is that Amazon will take your money in advance if they think the parcel will very likely to be required to pay import tax for whatever reasons, and in the event the parcel is delivered to you without having to pay tax Amazon will refund the money. The juicy bit is when you can order in such a way that the combination of sets that you are ordering does not trigger the import tax section at the checkout, then your shipment is almost guaranteed not having to pay import tax when it reaches you! You will have to play around with the stuff you are ordering, change order quantity, order different sets... etc. For example, I ordered two Tower Bridge import tax is zero. I ordered two sets of 9492 Tie Fighter Amazon compute some nice numbers for import tax at the checkout. Hope that wasn't too confusing! haha! |

QUOTE(Lego_Jason @ Mar 28 2013, 07:17 PM) In all sincerity I will advise against standard shipping... I had a few bad experiences and I will not use it for expensive sets. Cheap sets I will consider standard shipping... I agree, never-ever use standard shipping... I've never encounter such bad situation like yours but i chose standard shipping for my 1st purchase,My first big Lego order was three sets of 10185 Green Grocer. They were perfect MISB investment quality condition. It was to be my first Modular Building, my first big step in my Lego comeback... I was very new and inexperienced back then and opted for standard shipping... When the Pos Laju delivery van was outside my door I was filled with excitement. I watched the delivery guy went to the back of the van to take out my parcel and I nearly had a heart attack!! What greeted me was not a big shiny box of Lego. It was trash... The shipping box was on the verge of falling into pieces, the sealing tape has come off so much so there is a big hole that I can even put my head through it. The shipping box was also badly crushed. I was so worried that something may have fallen out during transit. Fortunately upon inspection all three sets of Green Grocer was still inside but they were no longer perfect box. All three sets badly crushed, my investment dream also crushed. So that's why I will avoid using standard shipping. To me it is very risky. My point of view is the longer the parcel is in transit the more likely it is to go missing or damaged. So now I only use Priority or Express. Shorter transit time means less handling equals less damage. Hope I don't frighten everyone into spending on expensive shipping! Just sharing my experience. I'll still take some risk with standard shipping but only with very cheap parts or sets that I don't mind losing or damaged. Peace! and the carton box came as if it went through a battle field. |

QUOTE(Bigfoot-X @ Mar 29 2013, 05:12 AM) This sucks. Exceeded quota for mobile internet and modem not working. Thank you for the pictures.... the price of hobbit sets still doesn't justify its content at all!
