Normally when the figs retailed at about 5 each, I don't set my expectation too high laugh.gif

Was contemplating between this or 60009 and ended up with this set. 10% discount so decided to just grab it. Really dangerous to check out Lego. Might just end up getting more than 1 set laugh.gif
*
Nice haul. The 60009 is worth it. Heavy set as well. Not everyday lego sets come with LED search lights laugh.gif

I wonder how much is the Battle of Hoth set icon_question.gif

It's 219.90 retail. After discount and weekend rebate. Got it for 185. Not bad for a set that comes with 6 Minifigs and 2 of them are exclusive. orange brick separator included.

High Speed Chase is a pretty nice set. What's a weekend rebate? Some credit card promo with your bank?
yea its when u used it on weekend, and u get 5-8% cashback rebate depending on which banks.

Also some banks triple your points if spent on weekend. like a RM200 set will generate 600 points, instead of 200 on normal days.

its good for additional bonuses, not good is that its so easy to spend more. doh.gif

yep it does affect as some people like to have perfect boxes
i think sometimes when we buy from stores, the boxes condition also isnt too promising.

it went thru many hand of children who take them out from shelves, ran to their parents which then denied of the purchase. the kid will then do a tribal dance on the floor with the box, asking to buy it. then at the end, it will go back to the shelves to await the entire process all over again.

so yea mint boxes sweat.gif

Luckily all series 4 dun have the security sticker. Only series 3 affected. I got stopped at the exit when the alarm sound, then the salesgirl nearby come and see whats inside my shopping bag. She peel of the sticker without any feeling despite i told her to be careful. I tot oklah, only boxes kena.  But today...  What an eyesore.  Going to exchange them. If they dun have any stock left, im going to brickboy..
*
yea thats the same with parkson security tags. Its either they rip it off, or cut the barcode strip with the cutter. which will puncture the box doh.gif

thats why i tell them, i will do the 'surgery' myself, at the cashier

Vows don't work for me. LOL
NOTHING can stop us from buying more huh? Even at the thought of numbers going higher and higher from month to month wink.gif

That's why my wishlist keeps getting longer. I've even started thinking to include *horror* modulars!
