Have not been to Legoland but if memory serves me right I remember the price at Brick Boys Garden Mall was RM1499? Hopefully someone else can confirm this.

Yes. I can confirm that BB was selling the tower bridge for RM1499 and that was the price i was paid for the set  smile.gif
*
Wait...
I think last year & early this year i saw at LLM for RM999.
Because i was thinking may as well get it here since its not much different from the States.

Well, after I moved then I will build it and display in the living room, revive the moment when I used to own a lot of lego set since I'm small (1993)...

But I'm enjoy the moment to assemble last time compared to now as last time its like a big bag of bricks and you go dig around in it and find the parts.. now is more like guided using numbered packaging.... I know numbered packaging is somewhat user-friendly, but it takes away my fun sad.gif

Last time the parts are generic and very easy to spot . Now there are too many specialised parts and the size are getting smaller and smaller. Even though the parts:price ratio doesn't change much compared to 20 years ago, LEGO company actually cram alot of tiny 1x1 round parts into their sets making it felt like "wow .. so many part for rm100! worth the price." .

When I opened new set to play around... I ALWAYS mix all the parts together despite instructions warning us not to do so. I love finding parts during assembly coz it prolong my enjoyment . And it enhances our hand-eye coordination skill too. smile.gif

i sort first by color, then move out the bricks and plates, and then the 1x1s aside, and the rest in another stack
