I dont think Tesco is moving out anytime soon from Scott Garden as their have contract with the landlord when they move in that time...
And normally, Tesco or other big hypermarket, they will signed at least 5 to 10 years of contract to make sure their rental is not rise or vice versa.
Even the business there is not as great as other Tesco hypermarket, but you guys have to know, this is not the stand-alone hypermarket, so therefore, they dont need to produce that sales volume.
BTW, their business is not as bad as we see tho... coz i am a frequent shopper there too... and i have shifted my groceries shopping from nearby NSK to Tesco, reason? U will know the quality of of the goods when one is local and one is UK based hypermarket
Cheers...
if a biz is bleeding money and there's no end in sight, normally they will rather one time cut off by paying the penalty. i never heard businesses whereby losing big money keep continue operating to lose even more money for sake of maintaining contract And normally, Tesco or other big hypermarket, they will signed at least 5 to 10 years of contract to make sure their rental is not rise or vice versa.
