Guys, wanna ask. Why is it my uncle's note 2 always shows " Easy Access, please wait " notification? It pops up non stop.

I know what's wrong with the "easy access, please wait" popup msg. The sim card is problematic, I tried switching with mine, no problem at all wink.gif Thanks for the suggestions guys.

Guys, urgent here.. My uncle's Note 2 can't connect to wifi though the signal is strong. It shows connecting, saved, connecting, saved.. But that's all it was. Why?

I did, but my Note 2 seems fine. No problem connecting to wifi. His at the same time, is having problems.

Ur uncle's unit got the same issue as mine. Try these options:

1) Go to your router settings and change your bandwidth to 2.4ghz. To do that, type 192.168.1.1 on your web browser. Pass and ID by default will be admin/admin then look for the setting.

note: The tutorial is changing it to 5ghz. For your case, you need to change it to 2.4ghz. Also, all routers got different settings. This is just an idea of it.

2) Forget the Wifi SSID that you're currently authenticating with. Then turn off your phone's wifi and then restart your phone and try again.

Note: If it still doesn't work, get to SC at Federal Highway.

Warning: Basically they will restore firmware for you and then ask u to get home and try. Instead of going home to try, u ask  them to try on the spot so you don't have to waste your time to go back there again. From my experience, most probably your uncle got a defect motherboard. It'll takes up to 3 working days to fix it but with the efficiency of Samsung Federal Branch, I got back mine within 2 working days.
