I know what's wrong with the "easy access, please wait" popup msg. The sim card is problematic, I tried switching with mine, no problem at all

QUOTE(joytest @ Apr 13 2013, 11:49 PM) Authentication problem (password) or perhaps it's the router running at 5GHz which somehow the Note 2 cannot connect. How to change this? QUOTE(jakgelap @ Apr 13 2013, 11:51 PM) Did you try delete/forget the wifi network and enter the password again? Its happen sometimes to me. I did, but my Note 2 seems fine. No problem connecting to wifi. His at the same time, is having problems. |

QUOTE(joytest @ Apr 14 2013, 10:58 AM) Errr, try the *#0011# code on his phone first? For the router you need to login to it and change some setting. But has he used wifi before? I recall you had some initial trouble with your wifi as well right? He tried but was not successful. Just now, I have to get the phone really close to the router. Else, not connected. I have np problem so far.. QUOTE(EdwinCodec @ Apr 14 2013, 10:59 AM) Ur uncle's unit got the same issue as mine. Try these options: Ok, thanks a lot. I will try these. 1) Go to your router settings and change your bandwidth to 2.4ghz. To do that, type 192.168.1.1 on your web browser. Pass and ID by default will be admin/admin then look for the setting. Here is a tutorial on how to do so. http://www.justanswer.com/computer-network...ghz-d-link.html note: The tutorial is changing it to 5ghz. For your case, you need to change it to 2.4ghz. Also, all routers got different settings. This is just an idea of it. 2) Forget the Wifi SSID that you're currently authenticating with. Then turn off your phone's wifi and then restart your phone and try again. Note: If it still doesn't work, get to SC at Federal Highway. Warning: Basically they will restore firmware for you and then ask u to get home and try. Instead of going home to try, u ask them to try on the spot so you don't have to waste your time to go back there again. From my experience, most probably your uncle got a defect motherboard. It'll takes up to 3 working days to fix it but with the efficiency of Samsung Federal Branch, I got back mine within 2 working days. |

QUOTE(lemond @ Apr 20 2013, 10:00 AM) Reason to keep your note 2 instead buying note 3 Haha, you'll never know.. Once it comes out, you might get 'poisoned' again 5 reasons why But hey..it's depend on the user it self, for me,note 2 is already big in my hand and pocket but nice to hold and use 6.3' or 5.8'? I'll take it if it is 6.3". |
