If you just want a phone to make calls, sms and whatsapp, any cheap (rm700+) smartphone will do. If you want the best mobile productivity solution on Android, the Note 2 still beats all the rest, benchmarks notwithstanding.

Best to start off is nexus 4
It is very good performance phone at cheaper price vs others

WHich is more important to u? Ur job or ur prob with putting stuff in ur pocket?

As u said earlier ur job has a lot to do with calls & whatsapp...R u having prob with ur current phone battery life?. If u need a longer battery lifespan n better whatsapp exp in ur job...then of course we here suggest Note 2...this is a Galaxy Note 2 forum anyway...

1st it depending on your adeptive behaviour if you prefer limitations and simplify stay with iphone.

If u prefer a more challenging and fun way interacting with your phone get note 2.

a note 2 vs an iphone is two different world.

Note 2 is more like a mini computer with a phone in your pocket.

U can upload and download any files from cloud and access it

U can put in a expandable memory up to 64gb just like that but for iphone you need to buy a new phone to expand

Real time multitasking - run multiple apps at the same time compare to ios only selected apps. Have u experience before when u type half way on ios you run another app and when cone back the previous stuff you type gone or refreshed?

This will not happen on android

Then on standard email app if you are on a slow and limited internet connections u notice if there is image attachment it will download it first while on android you choose to download or not.

Then another ios only can open and save selected files while android u can view and find way to open it

This just to name a few for productivity

Its only wasting time if you do.not know what you are doing

I have a nokia n900 back then when android is crap

My nokia n900 600mhz I overclock it to 1ghz and it outbeat a phone running android 1ghz. You should see how amazing nokia n900 so smooth, real time multitasking I opened 30 windows also no lag, can load and rub others OS games,  I can even decrypt ppl wifi for password.

Dont forget I can run full fledge website with flash without issue. Can even run Facebook games. For today even android quad core cant beat the old dead nokia n900
