Yes it will. RRP will drop RM100-200. Normal/online shop will drop more than Samsung RRP. 

This is what I notice after compare my SME Note 2 vs a frend AP Note 2.. the difference I can notice was Samsung sticker, got 2 sticker & c/w 2 color (Blue & Grey). My SME unit samsung "BLUE" sticker stamp at phone it self & "GREY" stamp at battery. My frend AP unit the other way where "BLUE" sticker stamp at battery & "GREY" stamp at phone.

If you really so scared, What you can do is:
1) buy from samsung store
2) if buy from normal store, you can ask if they sell sealed box (blue coloured sticker where you can see "void" words when the tearing the sticker
3) buy from reputable Sellers

Hopefully you can pay a visit to 1Gadget than ask the seller the diff between SME Vs AP unit coz they got above unit. We also hope & very appreciate if you could put/give some info/feedback about it later here based your own experience... 

Above unit, I mean they got SME & AP unit in their store & if I not mistaken N7105 LTE unit also they got. You can hold it at the same time (SME & AP unit) so you check any diff between this 2 unit. If your are lucky, you also have a chance to hold & look N7105 LTE version as well.

That's the reason I sold off my note2 n wait for s4. My problem is email corrupted, msg content is of other sender while attachments and other details are in place. Another problem is with sPen which freezes when I begin writing and need to soft press the power button to get it out. My fren using has data problem which needs to restart the phone. I guess most smartphone will have some problems. Juz that I cannot tolerate it and sold it off.
