Hi, i am planning to buy a note 2. I really like the big screen, the S pen and the multitask features. I am a iPhone user since 2 years ago. Want to change to samsung note 2 mainly because of the above mentioned features of note 2.

The only thing that make me hesitate is three of my friends had bad experience with their note 2. Two was laggy and another one was keep hang. I only got these 3 friends using Note 2, one of them already sold it and buy iPhone.

Then i found that in forum some peoples also having this kind of laggy and hang issues, but also lot of peoples no such issue and happily using the Note 2 everyday

So, i guess this is really depends on the luck? I am still considering should I buy Note 2 or not...

I'm waiting for the milestone Dualnote V10!! Should have better enhancements, like right? or i dunno LOL can't wait


1. my phone since november never hang any more than iphone. iphone is not hang proof. try open iphoto + asphalt + the epic citadel name... LOL
2. laggy... its like a bad word to me because 4 cores running at 1.6Mhz, it blows iphone 4S away (i don't know about iphone 5 because i don't have one, but i think its at least similar if not better)

this is also maybe due to me flashing a new ROM weekly or more often.

New update for tsf shell really worth my buck again. Period...

Yup saw that there is a new update and a big jump in version number. Hope its much better now cos i was still getting "white box" every once in a while with the previous version.

Anyhow now trying out Launcher 8. Its very nice and smooth but still got minor bugs here and there. Especially like the live tiles for folder and picture. And its more functional for me compared to conventional launcher.

like me? i used to dislike android because its laggy and nonsense.

Not with the note 2.

Its normal to have minor challenges its a phone.

My note 2 i have no lag for now and hang


Lesson 1- Dont installing too much crap or nonsense into your phone it might cause lag and hang. I have experience it once installed a live wallpaper the entire phone will feel laggy.

At the moment i only install what is necessary no issue todate.

If you install those popular apps it shouldnt be a problem but avoid doing what iOS user do install all the craps they found on apple store

Lesson 2 - Custom rom sometimes can be good and bad it can cause weird behavior without you knowing and you notice people complain why this why that why because there too many custom rom out there not every professional can identify every problem from each ROM someone creates.

Lesson 3 - Before making anything dumb or out of this world kindly ask the people here some can give you feedback is the apps good or not

Lesson 4 - make sure you clear the cache and memory in your phone it will take up your space.

Lesson 5 - make sure you sync your contacts with google because in future anything happen to your phone you can just sync and restore. Avoid using samsung backup to save your contact because if the next phone is not a samsung you gonna have a hell of time.

Lesson 6 - Stop listening what reviews or other people say different review comes with different firmware. Its like of today my shitty crappy camera skill no mobile phone reviewer and proven my skill sux todate. Try it and experience it yourself then judge,.

Lesson 7 - What so unique of android real time multitasking i can spam 6 social app at the same time and cause a low end android phone to hang hahahaha

Cant be bothered le , just give it to the buyers see what they wanna do with it . My colleagues who also asked me to order with the bulk already planning to upgrade to HTC One . Oh ya , seems China version of HTC One comes with dual sim and external memory card support .

in other news, i believe AOKP / AOSP / CM10.1 roms do not have the power saving toggle as in TW which is infinitely good (limiting the speed to 1,000 or was it 1,100)..

its really good to save battery as after trying out PAC AIO yesterday, i noticed that the freq jumps wildly between 200-400-800-1,600 when browsing and it stays at 1,600 40% of the time, around 40% at 200 and others are distributed.

this is not good for battery life (about 10% lost in an hour, compared to 3-4% on TW-based STweaks-tweaked ROM)

i daren't not risk bad battery life

USPS sucks. Big time.

Based on my shipment's AWB, it seems that they checked in and out of the same facility twice.. twice! Took them 2 days to transit from Florida to Miami's service point. Seriously horrible case. Worst of all, you want to track via email, you need to have a US address and contact number.

If you just wanna limit the cpu speed you dun need the power savings feature. Lots of app can do that.

I want to limit it (ala Power Saving TW-ROM) but also let it out free easily (if CPU is underload, automatically can scale to 1,600Mhz)

TW Power Saving for CPU will limit it and will not let it out freely lar unless you turn off power saving for cpu manually. So i dun see whats the difference with other cpu apps.

If you wanna maximize to get low cpu freq and only use high freq when on high load, need to play around with the governor settings.
