Not sure yet, i will attend the interview at nxt tuesday and see wat they are offering, becoz i google a little bit justnow, seems like quite alot of negative comment e.g. work frm 9am to 10pm, no OT, but not sure which department they referring. And its quite weird the way how i get the invitation.
A Recruiter from GMA Tech searched my resume through jobstreet, called me and send me a simple test with email. After a week i was shortlisted and they ask me 2go for Western Digital interview, i was expecting to interview in GMA Tech initially.

not sure yet, since the ppl who call me is not from western digital nor headhunter (weird), will ask in Tuesday, shud b programmer, because that's wat im written in jobstreet (search for programmer job). And quite curious too, i tot western digital is hardware company, why they need software engineer? And the test they send 2me is mere SQL question.

those remarks might not be applicable to the department / team that you're joining.
culture, people might have change since.
wherever it be, there must have some pros and cons.
never try never know.
best if you know which department is hiring and you have direct feedback from any friends currently working there.

Factory shut down every quarter for a week. 1 year entitle 14 day s annual leave. after deduct 2.5 days each quarter= 14-10=4
you only have 4 days as your annual leave under your control.

announcement on shut down date will confirm 2 weeks before. you wont get cheap air ticket. Stay in malaysia or home to enjoy.

yes, 11 month but is not under you to control which day to go for your holiday.
everything last minute which is expensive.

by the way 1 year 18-20 days annual leave is norm in O&G, banking and some big company with. You have full control on it. Some even can sell back the AL to the company.

There're lots of politics in Western Digital. A lot of below average people who play politics and dumb Angmoh bosses.

If you have better place to go, then don't join.
