I bought iPad 3 wifi 32GB 10 months ago. Previously no prob with screen. Then few days ago I noticed one small bright spot in middle of the screen, size about 1mm x 1mm. The white spot is visible only on the white/grey page, e.g wh browsing webs with white background. it is not visible if the screen displays other colours. There is not light leaking from the edge of the touch screen though.
Have anyone has similar problem before? What will they do if I bring to The Machines?

Okay, you need to understand that your ipad screen is made of 2 parts.

a) Glass Screen
b) LCD Touch Screen

I would say that your white spot is an LCD failure but probably just a few pixels at the edge. Therefore not so clear when projecting certain colours, like in your case, behind a grey or white background.

If you still have warranty (meaning no water damage too) then i would suggest you to bring back to Machine's/Maxis/Celcom/Digi to request a change/repair.

Hope this helps, my explanation may not be clear and specific but these is the least i know about iphone/ipad screens.
