Planing to get S890 for it's larger screen. But the P770 battery capacity is really tempting...hm...

If use 1 Sim,only 1 signal icon shown.if 2 Sims, there will be 2 signal icon. No need to hide.

Done. Finished by 3am in the morning. Huh...

Now, my s890 is rooted & partitioned (now got space got 1.8Gb for my apps)
While USB only have 500mb. Fair enough.
Overall, the procedure was a bit mess up.
I nearly brick my S890. Luckily can fix with S111 original ROM.

Thats that part killing me. The first time get to TWRP, I forgot to do back up.
I soft bricked my S890 due to the partition can't perform reboot.

The 2nd trial, I go thru rooting procedure, back up the original ROM.
Flash the Partition package. Then it's won't recover from reboot for more than 10min.
I have to take out battery & go to TWRP to do a restoration to original ROM.
After full restoration & reboot normally, there is a notification - asking for format USB partition. After format, WOHLAH...I have 1.8GB freespace.
Total partition is 3GB in the main partition. I am so relief this morning that everything running well.
Do a restore of Titanium backup form my Nexus 4. Everything continue from my N4 & working well.

Just one complaint only...the screen seems to be not very sensitive.

From your 5800, export all contact to SD card.
Then use PC & login to gmail. Look for import contact to gmail. When you activate your Android phone, login with your Gmail & let it sync. As easy as that....

I have used my S890 for a week now. No regret so far, even after selling my faithful Nexus 4. The camera is crappy, well, its still acceptable because it's a PHONE. I choose S890 over P770 because of the screen which is just nice to view - I feel that it's more elongated 5inch compare to others with wider width (just me or what?).

The battery of the S890 is better compare when I use Nexus 4 with the same pattern of usage. My S890 now can leave sync on full day & last me till midnight. I can only achieve that with Nexus 4 when I do manual sync. The other plus of this S890 is, the Dual Sim Standby for both my sequence phone no. in one phone, 5inch screen and CHEAPER. Overall user experience, no major complaint. I am glad that it's rootable & lucky to able re-partition to 3GB main storage. Else it's really a crap phone with limited storage.

Mine seem ok. 1st SIM - Digi, 2nd SIM - U mobile.

Meaning the gsm location for digi is not good.
My GPS working well since first day. Never have any problem.

Try google ideadesktop themes. Best way to find what you need.

Yah. Was with my friend who use Note 2. I told him, there is new layout interface on my Lenovo. He tell me, only China phone like that... Haha... Fact is, his Note 2 no update yet.

My S890 acting weird lately. I set my phone to off at 12am, on from 6am. These 2 days, I face problem with the keyboard reset itself to Touch pal. I wonder if any one face similar & could solve it? I would like use SwiftKey as my default.

I will have to turn off the phone off function now.
