Hi all, those using p770, if you try to edit the custom power setting, does it work? Each time I try to edit it will exit with error 'unfortunately lenovo power has stopped working'

weird, i factory reset then it's ok.... setting it all up again.... 

battery isn't bad. Disconnected my phone from the charger at around 9 in the morning today.

Now my battery is 80% left.

Whole day use the phone for messaging, whatsapp and light surfing.

Will try on tethering next week as I am outstation and see how long a full charge can last. A fuss-free, reliable and dependable phone for SMEs.

The only major downside is the horrendous camera.

well, more or less the P770 fixes all the downfall of my Xperia neo L and the Neo L fixed all the downfall of the P770.

I still keep the neo L for its camera purpose until I find a suitable higher end model to replace it.

I don't think you get the drift here.

In normal camera phone, the picture taken and viewed on phone is suppose to be as-true-as-possible representation of the actual colors and contrast of the scene taken. The P770 doesn't fail here. The failure is when transferred to PC, the color and contrast changes so much, the difference between the same picture in the P770 and in the PC monitor is almost heaven and earth. Colors are faded, noise level in dark ares are further amplified and the white balance is completely off no matter what is the setting.

This is a fact that plagued most camera phones in the market and it has absolutely no relation to pixel per inch or whatsoever. While most mid-range phone do suffers from the same issue, not much mid-range phones in the market that has the stark difference as big as the P770.

In the end this doesn't change the fact that this phone's camera is terrible and horrendous. I could even bet that my K800i photo quality is way better than what the P770 offers. If it isn't due to the camera, the p770 could be the cheap and cheerful phone. Now it is just a cheap and almost cheerful phone.

Discovered another weird issue.... For those using p770, if you install an app then move it to internal usb, then reboot, the app will be gone!! Have to reinstall it. Does anyone else have same problem?

Does anyone of P770 users had screen problem? ie lagging, irresponsive due to prolonged usage
Found out that this phone spec is very tempting, and once a CSL user, which the screen always had those problem after long hours of surfing/gaming.

Wonder why Lenovo choose the outdated 40nm MTK6577 dual core when we already have 28nm MTK6589 quad core. We are moving to the 2H of 2013 for crying out loud!

I see. So it has been around since October last year. This is kind of answer that i'm looking for. I guess now is about time they bring in models with MTK6589 and make a wider use of high capacity battery like the 3500mAh.

Means if I use Sim1 to surf internet, then suddenly got call come from Sim 2, I can still answer the call without interrupt Sim 1??

Actually the phone not bad, but I need some times because this is my first android phone.
Wanna try to root the phone, but felt like it is very complicated.
