Is Ego-W a good buy for beginner? I really like the slim and compact design, especially the pen cap.

I'm wondering if it's compatible with other Ego or commonly available parts? I'm not looking forward those otai hardcore mods, just simple stuff like the wicks and tanks.
Basically I'm just looking for something with low maintenance .
