This product is by 3M but not distributed by 3M Malaysia, therefore you cant get the replacement cartridge in Malaysia. I believe the reseller who sold you this model, imported it by themselves or purchased it online from other countries. It is important to purchase the product from an AUTHORIZED dealer like us and also to double check whether the product is carried by 3M Malaysia.

For those who purchased APDWS1000, AP902 or other 3M water filters from us, you do not have to worry about this issue as the products sold by us are supported by 3M Malaysia and they will bring in the replacement cartridges for extra minimum 5 years even the product has been discontinued.

THe link that you provided is 3M United States. As mentioned 3M Malaysia does not carry that model and that is why the replacement cartridge is not available. Resellers could bring in other models from ebay, amazon and etc and sell it in their showrooms to make higher margin or profit but 3M malaysia does sell those replacement cartridges. In Malaysia the main indoor water filters are AP Easy Complete, APDWS1000 and AP Easy Cyst.

This 3M case is similar to buying Handphones. There are Original & AP set. For example, if you buy AP Nokia handphone, you cant claim warranty from Nokia, you can only claim it from the supplier, for original u can claim it from any zithron shop. Similarly, if you purchase an "AP" 3M water filter which is not distributed by 3M Malaysia, you can only claim warranty and purchase the replacement cartridges from the reseller.
