Pardon me for saying but there is nothing special about these shots. I would say that these are very cliched shots. So you get a girl in a room and shoot her around a bed wearing an oversized shirt. Where have I seen that before? Ohh... wait... I see it almost everywhere in almost every photography forum.
First off, the composition of the shots are nothing to shout about. The tilting makes it worse. Why is it that in pic no. 4 that I can see the umbrella where your flash is mounted? Does that need to be in the pic? Shooting with the flash directed into the lens has even caused ghosting in your pic. I'm not a fan of fish-eye or UWA shots in portraiture. I think that most times, the fish-eye/UWA takes in more than necessary and detracts from the subject. An example of this is pic #7 and #8. That horrendously distorted window frame in 7 is not doing the picture any favors and all that empty space in 8 along with all that we can see outside the window is really distracting. So in the end, the fish-eye/UWA did not work. All in all, the model seems to be very awkward in posing and only pic #10 can it be said that the posing is acceptable. My 2 cents. |
