when u guys start up ur ipod nano....does it immediately come into the OS or does it like do a boot up with the black screen with the apple in d middle first??

i was just wondering...because my ipod sometimes goes directly into the OS....but if i dont use it for like a day...then it will start up with the boot screen first

It's perfectly normal. The iPod nano goes into hibernation after 14 hours of inactivity to conserve power. Nothing to worry about. smile.gif

actually.. do u guys happen to know how to "off" the ipod..
i mean else from putting it on standby by pressing pause button more than 3 secs...

do we have to wait for it to hibernate for 14 hrs to be "off" ?

I dont get it

I have the same 'thing' with my iPod Video. On my 4G , it does not reboot at all , it would be just 'fine'...

Only the 5th generation iPod (iPod Video) and iPod nano have hibernation mode.
