You need to lock the AGP/PCI by putting fix in the bios rather than auto.If not the frequency of the AGP and PCI will be increasing as you put higher fsb and results unstable issues. The worst case is hdd cannot boot in windows or maybe will corrupt.

Have to remember that the higher fsb is push, more latancy will be added on the ram.Another thing is your RAM is hynix D43 but which version?BT,DT or TCP verison? The best RAM of the Hynix family is the DT version. The BT version will be max out at 230Mhz normally and the TCP can go to 240Mhz.The DT version can go at least 250Mhz without any tweaking.

You try to put back the origianal settings in your bios see this happens or not.I think that is not the hdd damage.

I'm my experiance...even the powerfull Expert, SLI-DR, Fatality SLI, K8N (MSI & Gigabyte)...All should set PCIE/PCI or AGP/PCI manually...not to say do not ttrust the figures, but sometimes it is called 'preparation'.
