Using Proxy / VPN to make purchase on GMG has its risks . I have had friend who got his entire game forfeited before when they found out the IP doesn't match the account owner's region .

So buy it at your own risk .

Yeah i agree, there's a risk buying using proxy in GMG. How did they found out about your friend using fake ip to buy?

He just received an email saying region error when he attempted to register the code .
And when he emailed GMG and they refuse to support him in anyway because he isn't suppose to be able to make purchase according to his credit card country .

And they did not offer any refund to him as well .

And surprisingly I also did receive the 25% discount code from gmg , but when I make the purchase it says the product isn't available at your country.

Also something worth mentioning , when GMG just put up Wildstar for preordering, it was available to purchase for us . I remember being able add the product into my purchase basket . But I did not buy it at the time because I knew they are always going to give out a 25% discount sooner or later . Didn't expect they have totally disabled gamers from our country from buying it now sadly

just noticed the game, heard a little about it and it seemed quite okay.

but have one question, sorry if someone asked this already, but is it worth it to keep paying on the subscriptions every month for the game? i heard about the CREDD stuff but does it require alot of in-game gold to buy them?

I see, but i received email from GMG mentioning that my purchased was successful and already registered the pre-order code in the NCSoft website, so i'm good then perhaps?

The game is said tailored for end game stuffs and should be able to keep ppl subscribing to it if the contents is good. CREDD is depends on the server economy, you can only buy CREDD from Carbine for 19.99 USD and sell it as in game gold for other ppl or you can gift it. All depends on the server economy though on how much platinums(the highest currency in the game, platinum, gold, silver, bronze) the CREDD will be sell though.

are the end game stuff something like those 'Living Stories/World' as in Guild Wars 2?

but 20USD per month, that's pretty steep for me. Kinda hoping the game model to be buy-to-play and play all you want there-on after like GW2.

Nope, the end game contents is similar to Wow, veteran dungeons,20/40 person raids, arena, battleground, solo story contents and warplots(40vs40 person battleground, much like WvWvW GW2)
The 20 USD is for ppl who want to buy it from carbone and selling it for in-game gold in their server. The monthly subs is same as wow for 15 usd.
