I want to unlock my bootloader and all but I kinda find it a waste of the warranty if I do it. haha. Any one of you guyz straight away unlocked the bootloader after you bought the phone?

The warranty issue could be "tricked" easily tho, as you can opt to relock / unlock again without wiping once you have rooted by using Boot Unlocker: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?...tunlocker&hl=en

Ok then, i've decided to unlock my bootloader 1st and leave my decision about custom roms later. smile.gif

Most probably will be going to the service centres. I am using Umobile. SIM cutting is free right? hmm.gif

Well, for the normal phone shops, there's a fee. Bout rm10 i think. Not sure bout the service centers though.

But yeah.. haha.. I guess its better to cut at the service center if you wanna be safe. Since your's is a umobile. IF they screw up, can just straight away ask for a new sim.

so this phone's battery life is good enough for typical day's use.

Does it have any problem connecting back to 3G/HSPA from EDGE or gprs due to weak signal?
*
The battery's life great for me. Just be sure to disable the NFS and GPS satellite. Those two uses lots of batteries. So far, yesterday, I got around 15-16 hours of battery life and I used my phone quite alot

Personally I'm using Franco kernel. Serving me well so I didn't try out other kernels, yet. smile.gif

Btw, did you buy the franco.Kernel updater? and if not, do you know any other free apps that serves the same purpose?
