QUOTE(polarzbearz @ Mar 30 2013, 10:55 PM) If you mean the smartplan 88, IMO there's always other telco's plan which are more attractive and given that the Nexus 4 Malaysia set have dropped in price in some shops; it might be better to purchase it w/o contract and subscribe to other telco's plan. My previous experience with DiGi + observing from my friends, the data speed is seriously as compared with Maxis or U-Mobile. But these are subjectively my opinion only Tq for your feedback.. I'm still looking for a better value.. Saw one shop offer nexus 4 for 1299.. Warranty 2years from their shop itself..

QUOTE(superjoe @ Mar 31 2013, 09:57 AM) Previously I messed around by adding CC using US address, changing my Google account to US, trying with vpn, using market access on my phone and emulate Us telcos, and etc. Not sure which of it helped

However, I seemed to lose root access or at least my SU was not functioning properly. Reflashed to no avail. Reverted to Franco and all was good again. Any ideas?

Good to hear that! -1 worries for those who have US Set now Anyway, anyone here used ROM Toolbox Pro? Not sure if it's worth to buy but all-in-one seems to be better than buying apps separately in the future (e.g. Root Explorer, Kernel tweaks & others) This post has been edited by polarzbearz: Mar 31 2013, 11:44 AM

QUOTE(sitosbiuh @ Mar 31 2013, 11:46 AM) hi, will root & unlock bootloader wipe all my apps that i purchased? if yes then i need to purchase again when i wan those apps? 1. Unlocking will perform a full-wipe on your device (a.k.a everything and anything including media files). However this is only a one-time-process as you'll only have to unlock your device once in your lifetime (unless you go and re-lock it) 2. Rooting requires your bootloader to be unlocked (see above post), however if your device is already unlocked, no wiping will occur. 3. If your device is wiped, you can re-install the apps that you have purchased easily by linking your device to the Google Account that you have used to purchase the apps. Apps are tied to your Google Account and not your device. Hope it helps

Additionally, if you own multiple Android Devices, you can actually install them across-your-devices (single purchases, multi installation).

QUOTE(teckyang97 @ Mar 31 2013, 11:44 AM) Wow, so fast? And removing battery won't void your warranty? Nope. I dont replace battery. But if we replace the LCD, all the hardware must be removed from the LCD.
