The thing is... When you can't get your hands on the real thing, it's benchmark that tells a little part about the phone.

Benchmark also tells the RAW performance of the phone itself.

And... I do agree that benchmark means nothing in practical usage but for the purpose of surveying/research/looking around to fill my free time, what else can I see without looking at benchmark?

No matter it's battery benchmark/GPU benchmark/CPU benchmark, it tells at least a little about the performance of the phone. Just for fun, as a hobby or anything

Benchmark still makes sense. Else why all the review website (engadget, gsmarena, phonearena etc etc) still includes them in their review? [You may try to answer this question ]

if for me I'll register with LG Singapore because they will honor the warranty for playstore set.

yes i like nexus 4, ip5 and htc one design. waiting for htc one.

But most of the people will just snap a case back on.  So, the only time you see the design is the time you buy your phone. 

Unless, you use it nakedly which Imo,  you're strong. 

My heart skips a beat everything I drop my phone. Skipped many beats when I dropped n4.

maybe your price too high 
means locked.... if unlocked, there is a padlock with unlock icon during boot up

hehe... iphone 5 deman i'd say not that great as compared to the 4 / 4s era...

the iphone "just work" tagline is not useable anymore... and ppl like bigger screen ady

note 2 is still acceptable for me
s3 is totally out of Nexus 4 league in terms of fluidity and snapiness

Short summary:
The LG-made Nexus 4 by Google has just gotten a subtle design tweak. There are now little rubber nubs at the back of the phone that very slightly lifts the phone up and crucially, provide greater friction against slippery surfaces. Also, as Android Central notes, the nubs now allow for fuller sounds emanating from the Nexus 4′s speaker.

It is, however, unlikely that the current batch of Nexus 4 phones in the local market will be this newer version. On the other hand, those who purchase the device from bulk importers from the US Play Store might very well receive Nexus 4 devices with the new tweaks.
