I like the play it on the gamepad. Few thing like the touch interface is nice for me.
Got used to it due to 3DS. I always switch items in the item pouch with the gamepad.
I also wonder how people ping using controller without the touch interface. Can r?

Are you playing on 3DS or Wii U. I can help you out if you want. I have the whole day tonight to play and for the next 2 week i'll be on MH 24/7 due to holiday.
Might as well ffarm for all the armor's I haven't got.

I see. I use the gamepad because I don't know how to ping that got used to the touchscreen not bad really.
I find it kind of a hassle to hold Y and change items now since I use the touch inventory interface.

It's the beep beep sound that can be seen on maps.
Normally when playing multiplayer it's to call the other player to let them know that the monster is there.

I don't think it will work as Xbox also doesn't work. They have their driver and stuff to only work on PS and PC.
Sony Playstation headset always like that one. I heard Turtle Beach got sell a headset that works with Wii U.

I understand I always play my 3DS with headphone if the surrounding is noisy.
But if at home since I don't have a dog is pretty quite put volume around 30 with home teather and boom. Whole house cannot sleep

Oh and gamepad has a headphone jack try some of your headset some might work.

You have to repel Ceadeus with the given time limit. Deal as much damage as possible and break both horns.
It's actually not that hard to break those horn. Instead of hitting the horn hit the beard instead.
Horns will break when you hit the beard.

There is a time limit so yeah either you are able to kill it in time or deal enough damage to repel it in the given time.

About horns will break if you hit the beard? Yeah it does break as far as I can tell.
I've farmed the Cold Ceadeus before and I hit the beard a lot of time, does break the horn

Not that much compared to everyone that is HR100+
