Thanks Sensei Juwels.  smile.gif

This means it is useless to attack the spine after I have destroyed the two "cracks". I should stop attacking the spine and focus my ballista on the tusk then.  smile.gif

attacking the broken cracks still deal damage, but you would want to 'break' his other bits first.

Yup im on wii u. Im also having problems with brachy... this game is really getting to me nowadays. Getting impatient with these higher level monsters.
Im not a very good MH player so its very tough at times. Good thing u advised me to try GL, makes things much easier.

the control scheme is the same.. but the n3ds directional pad is under the thumb stick ( circle pad )

if you're a claw guy.. you will know it..

Claw/Clawing is how PSP users use their index finger to control the camera because the D-Pad is above the analog nub. That way we can control the camera and move and attack at the same time. Its actually very natural once you get used to it.

Oh. Haha. I used to do this all the time. I didn't know it's called clawing.

it is painful. i think i tried mhfu a handful of times and hated the controls SO much. when i finally went back to it again, and patiently tried - found it to be not that bad. in fact, it's almost natural to me now....

Yeah it's painful at first but eventually you either gain the dexterity or your fingers go numb. Haha. You mostly just press left and right though. No one wants to die because of the camera angle.
