If it is almost at the point where it can be captured can hantam one.
But you need to already trap it and traq it 2 times. Well it is what normally happened to me anyway.
And usually happens in a pitfall trap.

Speaking about traps....
I was at port quest...hunt an a.rathalos
Fight until he cabut to sleep,on my last life,low health
I set a trap next to it
Suddenly it woke up by itself,but not yet trapped
I run...it screamed...
I got stunned ,only it stepped into the shock trap
When I recover from the stun,I rush back and threw 1 tranq bomb....hit...
Threw the 2nd one, it escaped before the tranq landed.....
Proceed to slaughter me

Btw only HR45 and won't play this game that much for a while.

G-Rank level is so hardcore. Any of you guys can recommend armor and long sword for this quest?

Still using azure rathalos armor ( upgraded ) and dios katana+. Gemmed for CE+3 , Razor Sharp and HG Earplug.

Mark of Hero actually quite easy. go all out on white lagia, then run around the arena and let brachy and los kill each other.

imagine if they put the event white Lagia in the Mark of Heroes instead. LOL

Looks like i'm still noob.

Looks like i need to fight lagia a few times more. Can't quite dodge and timing the attack.

hard to recommend weapon, since all the weapons are good. it's really an individual choice. whichever weapon you feel is fun, that's the weapon you should use
