ati tool has the feature, where u can test for artifacts. thats the cool part...... i think rivatuner is more for pro OC'ers |

for better result in oc ATi cards, try Omega Drivers and ATi Tray Tools. look for the software at guru3d.com.
my x700 stock clock : 400/250 gpu/mem with omega driver : 480/320. can still go higher, but dont have the ballz to oc with stock cooling. |

QUOTE(chyz66 @ Apr 11 2006, 11:26 AM) i would say a lot of people use it coz rivatuner can disable d clock test so u able to oc more... but gc will b more prone to damage.... usually people will oc using rivatuner, powerstrip, ati tool and also coolbits... |

QUOTE(low yat 82 @ Apr 12 2006, 04:06 AM) i would say a lot of people use it And coolbits is the most simple app of them all, if you don't know how to tamper with extra settings in those apps I gladly recommend you coolbits. But I prefer rivatuner, test it for yourself, I think you will learn few things (like burning your gc) by the way.coz rivatuner can disable d clock test so u able to oc more... but gc will b more prone to damage.... usually people will oc using rivatuner, powerstrip, ati tool and also coolbits... |

i am using the omega driver for ati now.
previously i had problem while playing game... after uninstalling all drivers and software that came with the card. i installed omega driver.... so far i have been using it for a month now, no problem... it also has a function to change ur gpu and mem clock. |

ATI tool is much preferred on ATI cards. Latest two versions 024 and 025beta can detect and work properly with NV cards as well.
