 NEED ADVICE HERE...THANKS, logitech z5500 and creative X-Fi cards

hey guys, i had read through some of the opinions in the Audiophiles section but still, i cant find the advice for my question.

i bought the logitech z5500 last week at LYP ..however, i plan to buy Creative X-Fi Xtreme Music to take full advantage of this speaker..i found some articles in other websites say that logitech z5500 is not compatible with the Creative X-Fi Xtreme Music..it that true??need some advices or opinions from u guys..thanks

What's your main purpose with the speaker ?

If you are into music, get EMU0404. Around the same price range, and that card really works well Audio-wise.

If you are into games + casual music, X-Fi will do. BTW, X-Fi can work with any type of speaker as long as it can play sound and has the correct audio jack biggrin.gif

never heard of any issue for x-fi+z5500
any link for the claim?

just get the audigy zs2 if it's really incompatible.
they are about the same in surround effect.

the speaker is mainly used in gaming and movies..and i want to get the surround sound effects while gaming other than movies..so can experts outside there give more opinions??
