Hmm, usually girls wouldn't go near mouse...how did she get her finger bitten?
Anyways, yeah, it's best if she went to a doctor to check it out, you never know what these pests can do to you. |

Dogs are carrier for rabies.. but plagues are carried by the bugs that feed on the rats.

Mice are vector for many scary bacterias and viruses like Hantavirus and lyme disease.
I know one guy who died from toxoplasmosis working in a farm. they suspect it was from rats/mice. died after 2 weeks fever then went into coma, mouth foaming. scary! |

QUOTE(LYFfan @ Apr 14 2006, 09:13 AM) Mice are vector for many scary bacterias and viruses like Hantavirus and lyme disease. toxoplasma found in cats one lar. most of us who has close contacts with cats are invariably infected with toxoplasma already. Just waiting for right time and right moment before it's reactivated.....I know one guy who died from toxoplasmosis working in a farm. they suspect it was from rats/mice. died after 2 weeks fever then went into coma, mouth foaming. scary! I got one friend who came back from Cambodia angkor wat with fever, fit. he was admitted to ICU and brain scan showed brain abscess |
