David,
check on Eokboy.. he working pretty fast(From what i following in his bulk thread). Consider RM80 for a basic Cmoy is a sweet thing.
His handwork looks pretty promising.. Better be quick.

Else once ppl hobby fade out then susah nak cari this nice lubang again..hehe.

If someone did a good job. It is fine to advertise. Else, some new ppl dunno how where to find the lubang oso.

QUOTE(AlamakLor @ Jun 3 2006, 01:37 AM)
i think the highs got a little bit more mellow...that's all. I have another brand new unit that i havent opened up....will AB them when i finally decide to tear open that sucker biggrin.gif

I think the "highs got a bit more mellow" effect really is just mental burn in. Heck even the SR-5 feels more 'mellow' now, and its at least 8-10 years old by now =P

... either that or the NOS transformer's capacitors were burning in. Hmmmmmm.

I will verify if it's a mental thing, or not later. I didnt claim that it is certain though, hence "i think". I do belive in mental burn in however, that's why I really dun like to comment too much about pre-burn-in and post-burn-in differences nowadays unless there are 2 pairs of phones to AB the differences.

i already compared mine koss withoutvolume control from alamaklor, and brand new koss with volume control from irwan.
the one without volume control indeed have more enjoyable treble.
and as i can remmember, it was quite harsh when i first recieve it. bass were not good. sort of pecah suara when blass it with sort of techno music.
but that got sloved within 1 hours of playing the koss.

The KSC75's have never sounded harsh to me - maybe because I always play them soft to conserve my hearing. But they are definitely bright and sound like the loudness button is permanently switched on! Could this be why so many ppl are impressed when they first hear it?.

well, does anyone think their KSC-75 sounds better with burn in? I haven't detected any differences in mine. (to be fair the SR-5 gets far more air time dry.gif)

I've compared a old pair ( which belongs to a friend of mine prolly about 2 months old i htink ) with a brand new one ( Using my friend's zen micro ) which i got from irwan. There is a slight difference, for me the older one sounded more comfortable the sound isn't that sharp/bright/orHowEverYouDescribe. Sounded Deeper i think ( I just don't know how to describe it tongue.gif )

Nah, it depends on your ears mainly
The brightness was never a problem for me either, just that they are brighter than most
Whether it comes to the point of being harsh or not is up to the listener biggrin.gif

haha..why so gila bout koss75 until need to do a Sig.
It is one affordable item by anyone who is into music.

Anyway, comparing speakers to earphones.. this is the first time i heard of.smile.gif

Try music wif hi-treble instrument such as cymbals in trance or thrash metal...the cymbals could hurt ur ears a little..
And the music source is very important to let u hear the details out.
