I wonder if the drawings will be similar to the movie. I don't really like the elongated limbs. But I like the story, was hooked to the manga at some point. >.<

I have it but haven't had the chance to watch it yet. I do agree on the elongated limbs, it just bothers me somehow. I must say the story's pretty interesting though, so I'm looking forward to it.

i never read the manga b4, n i never watched the movie b4 too.. all i know bout xxxholic is the fact that clmap made it, so it should be great
in other words u can say that im totally new 2 this story.. ive juz watched the 1st ep, n its freakin confusin.. i dont know a single damn thing that theyre talking bout.. n that super long limbs n super skinny guy is worst than wat we get in tc.. that kimihiro guy looks like one of those 'orang orang' thingy in the middle padi fields use 2 scare birds i really really dont like it, it ruins the quality of the story.. wat happen 2 the good old days, where clamp would draw a guy like a guy should be.. now it looks as if theyve drawn 'orang lidi' instead  but nvm laa, im still gonna watch it.. wanna know wat the heck the story's bout.. |

The story is not really confusing but it does have lots of thing need to be explained. The manga itself requires you to comprehend carefully.
On other note, dont you think 'super long limbs and such' make poor hentai stuffs? I think CLAMP did it on purpose. lol  |

Yuuko's alright, I don't like her too much but I don't hate her either. I like the fairy girl who gave Watanuki the chocolates though But in the end, no one beats Mokona |

CLAMP has a few animes that 'crossovers' with their other titles... you will know when you watch more of their stuff. I never read any of CLAMP mangas though...only watched X, Tsubasa Chronicles and just started on Card Captor Sakura - you will find familiar names/faces from all of them.
xxxHOLiC is pretty good the more I watch it, some ppl may find it boring but for me.... seems like it shows some life lessons kinda thing and interesting (special) storyline. Also, I love the OP song a lot. The artwork kinda bugged me at first but I like the mysterious feel of it. Fansubs I am watching - Kyuu (especially after watching Ep3... I will stick to theirs because of the translations, quality and speed) ~ |

lol. This anime rocks. Watch episode 9 from Mishicorp sub. Cant wait for Shinsen as they are too slow.
Think the beginning of xxxholic is quite scary but it like repeating a bit in episode 9 but very enjoyable anime to watch. lolz.. So download guys. But seen little ppl watch this anime in LYN. lolz |

Up to episode 7 now, it's really fun watching Watanuki being so 'hyper' all the time. I wonder what's up with Himawari (they haven't revealed it in the manga either), she kinda has something that 'opposes' good forces, notably in the episode where she touched the tube with the monkey's paw.

Are there 24 episodes only for xxxholic? Actually I have the DVD of full 24 episodes but then I saw another one on sale with a different cover mentioning season 1 & 2 episode 1-24. I was wondering if its the same but probably from different distributor...Mine didnt mention any seasons at all...Am thinking of getting it but worried it might be the same...
 Btw, what exactly does ova means? Will it be a different story? |

Did anyone go for the manga?
I usually follow the manga and when anime version came out, I watched it. When xxxholic kei was released, I lost interest in the anime (i have no idea why) and only stick to the manga. The manga drove me mad because it took a tremendously long time to release 1 book. I bought volume.......... 15 or 16 last month (couldn't remember but I can recognize the cover ).Just to spice things up a little, I only read up till Chap 193.
