Brand holder spend alot money doing marketing, R&D while China just produce "OEM" and sell.

In future those major brand might sell off their asset to CHina company, may be in another 5 ~ 10 years time if the trend continue. tongue.gif

hehe if only they can do good servicing and support, then that might happen. But most fellas still don't like to take risk on OEM stuff with short warranty and virtually no after sales support haha.

That's the point. Sometimes we have some (or many) buyers looking at the stuff of original price tag but never forseen what is branding power for given you support and many stuff you might need within a year of warranty.

Just saw them tongue.gif Well then, someone here should venture and let us know the experience hehe But of course like I say, durability and support is virtually unknown or unaccessible sweat.gif Unless Davis plans to bulk it icon_rolleyes.gif

its a stereo amplifier -
1) not much can go wrong
2) there must be someone who can fix one if it broke...
3) its a RedRose OEM and should be durable

The unit is twice heavy than the size of brick. If the unit hit your face for sure you will ECU for many weeks tongue.gif

You just need to pay for RM1xxx only. Those who want please let me know. I like to try as well.

whats the different? it still considered copying others' designs? Are you going to buy the amp if Dussun use his own design?

Yeap. It could be RM1999. I heard from "somebody"/"Source" mentioned this OEM Mark Levinson sucks as all the hardware exactly the same but they are not calibrated up to M.L. standard. sweat.gif

Yup, calibration plays an important part. That's why even if all the chips, components are the same, there's no guarantee that you get the same sound.

That's why sometimes OEM is really OEM for the brand holder but some how brand holder have their own QC and specs to follow after OEM unit sent to them.
